The usage method of Weldolet Sockolet ,Threadolet
Weldolet and sockolet is a reinforced pipe fitting used for connecting branch pipes, which can be connected to the main pipe by welding. The following are detailed usage steps:
Preparation: Check the inner and outer surfaces of the pipe to ensure that there are no oil stains, rust, or other impurities. Select appropriate welding materials and equipment based on the size and model of the branch pipe seat. At the same time, prepare other necessary tools and auxiliary materials, such as sandpaper, brushes, angle rulers, ordinary screws, fireproof felt, etc.
Inspection before welding: Check whether the quality and size of the branch pipe seat meet the requirements. Check if the connection between the branch socket and the pipe is smooth, and if there are any obvious protrusions or defects. Check if the positioning hole of the branch pipe seat is aligned with the connection of the pipeline.
Positioning of branch pipe seat: Determine the installation position and welding direction of the weldolet based on the welding drawings or actual site conditions. Use angle rulers and other tools to measure the verticality and welding angle of the pipeline, ensuring that the position and angle of the weldolet  meet the requirements. Use ordinary screws to fix the branch socket on the pipeline and check if its position is stable and fixed. At the positioning hole of the branch pipe seat, use a brush to clean the surface of the inner wall and the end of the pipeline.
Welding joint: Apply welding agent to the positioning hole of the branch pipe seat and heat its surface until the agent melts. Insert the branch socket into the end of the pipeline, ensuring that it aligns with the connection at the end of the pipeline, and that the connection size, angle, and deviation between the branch socket and the pipeline meet the requirements. Use welding equipment to weld the branch pipe seat and pipeline, and the specific welding method and heat parameters should comply with the requirements of the welding drawings and process specifications.
Safety precautions: Strengthen safety protection during the welding process to ensure the safety of welders and tools. Before operation, check whether all tools are in good condition and can be used normally. During the welding process, attention should be paid to controlling the welding time and heat to prevent adverse phenomena such as excessive heating and premature annealing. After welding, the weld seam should be cleaned with sandpaper and brush to make it smooth and neat.
